This week is our last week of school before September holidays and we also have Parent-Student-Teacher interviews on Wednesday afternoon and evening. I expect each of you to come along and discuss your progress in Science with your parents as well as show them some of the great work you have been doing this semester. We will talk about your goals for Term 4 and beyond and how science is relevant to your future.

Tuesday 20th Setember:Finish Plants mind map and study germination of seeds.
Wednesday 21st September: Leafy exchanges – how leaves work.
YEAR 8:
Monday 19th September:“Floodwatch” trailer visit
Tuesday 20th September:Test on Circulatory, respiratory and excretory systems.
Wednesday 21st September:Tree banding project – plant transport systems.
Thursday 22nd September:Walk to Hawkesdale Common – plant transport systems.
